"This spot has a great atmosphere. I came specifically to try the JWF Salmon Burger, and it was good and well-cooked, the chips were delicious too. Also started with a Caesar salad with anchovy, which was fresh and had a nice balance of dressing. For dessert, I tried the sticky toffee pudding—it was decent, though the rum sauce was a bit too bitter for my liking. They have a solid beer selection, and the one I chose was cold, crisp, and paired perfectly with the meal. Service was attentive and well-paced, no complaints. Overall, the food was solid—not mind-blowing, but I’ve never been disappointed. Still a great gastropub, and I don’t know many places that have a salmon burger! Definitely worth checking out!"
